Excellence in Women’s Health Care

Looking after women’s health and wellbeing since 1987.

Gynaecological Care

With over 30 years’ experience specialising in women’s health, you can rest assured that we are at the forefront of gynaecological care, treating and diagnosing women of all ages.

IVF / Infertility

Infertility is more common than many people think (one in six couples). In many cases (and with our help) the causes of infertility can be addressed without the need for IVF.

with Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon Dr Steve Raymond

Gynaecological Laparoscopic (Keyhole) Surgery has revolutionized treatment for women’s health conditions. It can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse, infertility, and ovarian cysts. With a very close and magnified examination of affected tissue, it is a very meticulous and precise surgery – leading to a clearer diagnosis, and in many cases treatment at the same time as diagnosis. Keyhole Surgery is minimally invasive giving a faster recovery time.

Dr Steve Raymond is an Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon who is a nationally and internationally recognised expert in the field of keyhole surgery and has performed hundreds of advanced laparoscopic procedures for women. He also regularly attends and participates in conferences worldwide to update his knowledge and skills – presenting his surgery results to GPs and medical specialists across Australia and overseas.

10-15% of women in their reproductive years are affected by endometriosis. It can be quite a debilitating condition that leads to years of illness and pain if not treated early.

If you are experiencing pain during your periods, intercourse or having difficultly falling pregnant, you could have endometriosis – a treatable condition that can affect your fertility.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects 12-18% of women of reproductive age and up to 21% in some high-risk groups, such as Indigenous women. The symptoms of PCOS include excess hair, hair loss, acne, weight gain, difficulties with fertility, increased anxiety and depression.

Prolapse Surgery

One in three women will experience symptoms of prolapse after having babies or when going through menopause. Incontinence, swelling, urinary leakage, difficulty emptying the bowel or difficulty with intercourse, may be a sign of prolapse.
